Recruitment Toolkit

Across the United States, transit agencies are facing the challenge of recruiting and retaining operators and technicians essential to operating and maintaining our public transportation systems. To help support local efforts, TWC has developed a National Frontline Transit Worker Recruitment Toolkit. This resource was created in coordination and communication with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and partners from industry, community, education, labor, and workforce development nationwide.

The toolkit contains materials and resources to support effective outreach and recruitment efforts, and it will be regularly updated. TWC invites all public transportation stakeholders to share their materials and successful practices to help expand the library of resources and showcase best practices from across the industry.

For assistance using the toolkit or to share methods and materials, please contact Communications Associate Sudan Smith at ssmith@transportcenter.org.
